What’s the difference between a Micro ATX Motherboard or an ATX Motherboard ?

Should i get an ASUS Rampage II Gene, witch is a mATX MB, or any other ATX MB. I will mount an i7 920, a GTX 285 (Maybe SLI) on it in a Cooler Master HAF 932 case.
